Course Description
Stress - mental, emotional, or physical - is both good and bad. We sometimes seek stress for fun or entertainment; and sometimes, we are overwhelmed with the stress of worry, fear, or anxiety. Most stress is self-generated, and with the right tools can be managed and controlled. This course teaches the basics of stress, how it is both good and bad for you, how it affects you emotionally and physiologically, how it is processed by your brain, and how your body responds to to it. Learn about the damaging consequences of excessive stress response, how to recognize undesirable types and levels of real stress, and how to help your brain process it. Learn instant relief techniques, and how to use Yoga Therapy to manage the stress response and reduce its deleterious effects.
